Sabalan

Mount Sabalan (Savalan), the second-highest peak in Iran, is revered as a symbol of endurance, purity, and spiritual presence in the northwest of the country. Carved in rich walnut wood, this 3D relief captures Sabalan’s broad, majestic form and serene symmetry, reflecting the mountain’s calm yet commanding character. The sculpted contours evoke its snow-crowned summit and the legendary crater lake at its peak, a place long regarded as sacred in regional lore.
